さて毎日寒いですね。土曜日の雪にはびっくりでした。ベンチの上に少しだけ積った雪がご覧いただけると思いますが４０年ぶりだそうです。この時期の降雪は。自分が生まれた以来の珍事。人類が初の月面着陸を果たして以来なんですよ。（なんだか分かりにくい時間の例えですが・・・。）
寒さのお陰でビオトープの成長は止まった感があり今の内に遅まきながらせっせと清掃に努めておりました。降り積もった枯れ葉を取り除くと隠れていたメダカが顔をだすの繰り返し。増えすぎた種類を間引き鉢分けしたりしながら慎重に水を抜きながら草体の整理をしあげると何とも気持ちのよいものです。草の組み合わせを変えたりと大がかりにいじったのでかなりすっきり。やはりシンプルイズベストです。寒さの傍らで木々は芽吹き確かな季節の移り変わりを知らせてくれております。水鉢の水面に映る木々は寒々しくても我が家のピクチャーウインドウから観えるシャラの木は緑鮮やかですよ。今日はまた気温がぐっと上がるようですが皆さん体調管理ぬかりなく。明日はまた１０度も下がるようですよ。ご自愛くださいね。かく言う私もしばらく風邪を患っておりました。
