今日は娘がどうしてもマーリーを観たいというからチビ二人を連れてヒルズへ観に行ってきました。世界一おバカな犬というタイトルを見て、どうせくだらないコメディ映画なんだろうと思っていたら、笑いどころか涙が止まらず鼻水とまらずカアちゃん、どうしようもない状態になってしまいました。
まだ観ていない方の為に内容はお教えできませんが、いわゆるマーリーの一生を描いた話です。
悪い犬ほど手を焼くぶんだけ思い出を沢山残し、壁のかじった跡とかフローリングの爪の跡とか目に見える証拠も残す。歳を取るたびにやんちゃな部分が消え落ち着き始め。。。
その落ち着きが、妙に寂しかったりもして。。。目の前から姿がなくなる。。。
第一次ペットブームから約10年経ちます。その当時に飼った犬は老齢期を過ごしていると思います。昔に比べ、犬の寿命が延びてきたと言われていますが、やはり20年くらい生きれば大往生です。
別れを経験することで命の大切さを知る子供もいます。言葉を話せない犬の代わりに命の選択をしなければならない人もいます。
どんな犬も私たち人間と一生を共に過ごし、どれほどの愛情を注いでくれるか計り知れません。

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like 'Mixview' that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you're listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of "neighbors" will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune "Social" is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

(There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)
