お医者様はパパに残された時間が3か月と言う事を私に宣告したの
それは今年の6月の出来事

私と私の兄弟達は

カンフーをいつも練習して規則正しい生活を送る

家族の中でも一番丈夫な体を持ったパパ

そのパパがどうして身体を蝕む腫瘍を持つことになったのか

私達家族は　この6か月間　パパの為に全力を尽くし

結果、パパはお医者様の想像よりも強く

９２歳にして　予想の２倍生きたのよね!

私はパパと植物園へ行き一緒の時間を楽しんだの

鳥、猿、それから後に私に命名した美しい蘭庭園を見るために

とても美しい光景だった

私たちはテーブル・セッティングやソファー、椅子・・・・・

閉店まで家具屋さんの中を歩くいてそれらを眺め、時を過ごしましたね

上海でパパの時代に作られた家具のテクニックのほうが

現代のそれより　はるかに素晴らしいと言っていたパパ

そうね　パパ

パパの言うことは正しかったわ

そう、パパはモダンな感じがあまり好きではなかった

そんなパパを　モダン好きの私は

コンテンポラリー系を強制的に全部見せたりして・・・

ごめんなさいパパ（笑）！！

最後まで背中を丸めることなく過ごしたパパは

年を重ねてもウエストがちゃんとあって　５０年前と変わらず３２インチ

おかげで50年間　服を買い換える必要がなかったわね

そんなパパを誇りに思います

毎日８杯のお水を飲むことも教えてくれたわ

私の好きな飲み物　それは今でもパパの教えてくれた「お水」

私はあなたについて行き　ある時そこで
私に護身用のカンフーを教えてくれた
私は未だにその時の事を思い出します

私が悪い人に会うのではないかといつも心配してくれたけれど

私は教えてもらったそれを使いたくはないわ

だってパパが教えてくれたカンフーは強すぎるんですもの！

ちょうど20年前　私の2人の兄弟が大学に行った後

パパとママは、女の子の誕生を願って私は生まれたのよね
私を「Lucky girl」と呼び　パパとママ　両方から愛を注がれた

私は、スペインで想像した事を思い出したわ

私がミラベラという名前の由来をね

そして私は幼い頃にパパにあげたカードを見つけました

さらに私の歌唱のテープまでも

パパは全部　大切に取っていてくれたのね
昔の懐かしい思い出がいっぱい蘇ってきたわ

パパが元気で生きていた時を思い出します

Dearest Papa,
Where are you now papa? Are you on your way to heaven? Have you found mom and grandpa and grandma there yet? I knew that you have gone to a better place where you will have eternal happiness. You closed your eyes and stopped breathing before I arrived beside you. You didn't want to see me crying so you don't want to say goodbye, right Papa? I will be strong, don't worry papa.
Sorry I have lied to you. I didn't tell you about the seriousness of your malignant tumor in the pancreas. It is very aggressive and the doctor told me you only have 3 months to live. That was in June. My brothers and I couldn't bear to tell you. You never smoke, drink and you exercise and plays Kung Fu diligently your whole life. You are the strongest and sturdiest in the family. How can you possibly have such an aggressive tumor that is eating up your life so fast? Up to now, I can't understand this.
I treasured the time we spent in this past six months. Yes six months papa! You outsmart the best doctor in town and prove to him you are stronger than he thought and held up double the time, especially at your age at 92!
I enjoyed going with you to the Botanical garden. You brought me there when I was young, so I brought you there too, to see the birds, the monkeys and the beautiful orchid garden which you named me after. They are very beautiful, aren't they? You have always loved interior design and furniture and finer things in life. We had a great time walking in furniture stores looking up close at the table settings, sofas and chairs. But you said workmanship of furniture made in your era in Shanghai was much finer than now. Yes, papa you were right. You never liked modern and I brought you to see all contemporary furniture. Ooops sorry papa.
Up till your age, you never hunch your back and your waist size is still like 50 years ago at 32 inches. You never bought any clothes for 50 years and you are proud you keep your figure right papa? You taught me never to quit exercising and drink 8 glasses of water everyday. My favorite drink now is still water papa. I followed you. You taught me Kung Fu to use in emergency if I am being attacked. I still remember them papa. You always worry that I meet bad people, I did but I don't want to use what you taught me as I will hurt them! The Kung Fu you taught me is so strong!
I was born after my two brothers went to college. Exactly 20 years apart. You and mom decided to have a little girl and I was born. You always called me a lucky girl and I am as I always have both you and mom's love. I also remembered I was conceived in Spain, that's why I got my name in full as Mirabella.

I was going through sorting your room and I found all the little drawings, cards and pictures I gave you when I was little. Also the tapes of my singing. You kept them all papa! The fond memories of old times came back.
I hope that you are at peace papa and that you are still smiling up in heaven as I always dream of you smiling, the way I remember you when you were alive. I'm glad that I dream of you smiling and laughing because I couldn't bear it if I saw you any other way.
I miss you so much papa! Come back and visit in my dreams papa and please tell mom I miss her very much too.

When I walked into the store, it was more like a friend's gathering than an LV event. I saw many familiar faces, John Ying, Kevin Ching, Charles Yang, William, Marcus Lee( sorry didn't know you sat right behind me at Nakata's gala in Osaka until now), Wilson Lamb, Adeline, Winnie, Louisa, Caroline.... old and new friends combined. An event is the best place for a quick get together and for Louis Vuitton, of course the chicest ones! A very happy night, may be because we are getting into the holiday mood and everyone is joyous. Not to mention, the guest star of tonight is famous Hollywood and Korean drama actor Mr Daniel Henney, and Mr Yves Carcelle, Head of LV ,specially came for the ribbon cutting event. A starry starry night and a starry eyed Mira in shocking pink!

Tonight, the Hong Kong Landmark LV shop is having a private event to launch the city guide of Hong Kong and Macau. They come in both Chinese and English version. Today 4 hours shooting at Chai Wan for SKII LXP. A little embarrassing as I am so bad in posing in the beginning. The photographer was so patient to teach me how to place my hands and legs and the team played soft music so that I am not feeling so nervous and stiff... Thank you so much Joanne, Mona for keeping me poised.

ＹＳＬが用意してくれたこの会はすべてスムーズに進んだけれど

今宵の私の靴は5インチのプラットフォームシューズ・・・

驚くほどの素晴らしいプールを見るためには

屋上へあがらなければならなかったのだけれど

小石の多い石の階段を登ることができず残念(T_T)

次回がきっとあるわよね！

その時は忘れずにフラットなバレエシューズを持参するわ!

A series of very very fortunate events continue tonight in my favorite month of year. When YSL sent the invitation, the venue of presentation remained a secret. Until the guests arrived at the reception that arrived, all guests supposedly have no idea where the venue for presentation will be. Well but of course there are always little birds around whispering so we are all pleasantly assured that it will be a fun night. The presentation is at the French Consulate General's beautiful colonial style residence at the Peak. After guests arrived at the store reception in Central, there are a line up of cars taking guests to the Residence. Actress Ms Cherie Cheung and beautiful Amanda S were among the guests. And my dear friend Sena came from Japan this time to join me too! And my sweetest couple friends Clemence and Greg who always give me heartfelt warmth. The whole event was exquisitely executed, cosy yet exclusive. As I was wearing my 5 inch platform, I couldn't walk up the pebbly stone steps to the rooftop to look at the stunning pool. There's always a next time and I will remember to bring in my ballerina flats!

私たちは皆　Van Cleefのアフターパーティーに参加するために

プリンス・ビルへの湾岸を　もう一度通りました

Maisonでのレセプション

国際的な女優ケイト・ブランシェットさんによるテープカット

ミシェル・ヨーさんをはじめ香港のセレブリティは

シュウ・フォング・フォングさん、ダニー・イップさん・・・・・・

マンダリン・オリエンタルで行われるディナー

そしてSevvaで行われたアフターパーティーへと続きました

私たちは到着し　まずはオープニングのために作られたという

スペシャルに素晴らしい宝石　2点を見るために私は店内へ

楽しみにしていたのですが　なんと既に両方とも

パーティーの初めに売られてしまっていました・・・

私は実際にバレリーナを愛していることもあり

これらの2点は特別なコレクターズアイテム☆☆☆

Right after Cle de Peau, we all went across harbour again to Prince's Building in Central to join the after party of Van Cleef. There are 3 parts to Van Cleef: reception at the Maison, cutting ceremony by international actress Ms Cate Blanchett, Ms Michelle Yeoh and Hong Kong's very own Ms Siu Fong Fong and Ms Deannie Yip followed by dinner at Mandarin Oriental and after party at Sevva. When we arrived, I went in shop to look at the two fabulous pieces of jewellery that were made specially for the opening and before I knew, both were sold in the first hour at reception. I really love ballerinas and these two pieces are exceptional collectors items. Wonder who's the lucky two who got these!
At the after party, Ms Lisa Stanfield from UK specially came to Hong Kong for this event as guest star and we had a lovely time drinking champagne and hooking up with more friends in Hong Kong. A very bubbly and memorable evening! (*ゝω・)ﾉﾟ:*:ﾟ
